How-Long-Does-It-Take-For-Corn-To-Grow      Did you know that the corn which we eat is actually seeds? It is true what we eat is the seeds of the plant; and just like other plants, corn has to be cultivated when the temperature is neither too hot nor cold. Spacing the seeds between each row is an ideal way to get a good crop; and not mixing one variety with the other should also be kept in mind. So how long does corn take to grow? More..

How Do You Barbeque Corn ?

Corn tastes the best when it is barbecued. Also, this method of cooking corn is simple and without any fuss. How do you barbecue corn to get the best taste and flavor without going overboard and burning it? While it is not rocket science to barbeque corn, you need to keep a few things in mind.

To barbecue corn, you first need to peel back the layers of husk and remove all the silk and husk of the corn. However, do remember to keep the husk attached to the base of the corn. Otherwise, it simply beats the purpose of barbecuing corn without the cob.

Rinsing is optional, but if you are a stickler for cleanliness, go ahead and rinse to remove any silk strands on the corn. Preheat the grill to a medium-low. In a bowl, mix chilly powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, oregano, salt and pepper. Add soft butter to the mix of powders, and mix it to form a paste. Apply this mixture on each ear of the corn. Then wrap a foil around the ear, twist the ends if you feel you need to secure it better.

Once your corn is secure within the foil; place it on the preheated grill for around 20 to 30 minutes, until your fork pierces the corn smoothly. Keep turning the ear periodically while grilling it.

This is the simplest way to make tasty barbecue corn. However, you are welcome to try your own concoction of powders and flavors to suit your taste.
