One of the most advocated methods in organic gardening for pest control is attracting the so-called good bugs into your garden. If you plant certain plants in your garden, you can attract bugs that will actually prove to be beneficial by eating away the pests or keeping them at bay.
One more way to organically handle pests in your garden is by attracting birds. Build and install a bird feeder in your garden and then watch the birds getting rid of most of the pests by eating them. You also have the option of handpicking the bugs and worms from the plants. In fact, many organic gardeners use this method as pest control. Alternatively, you can make an organic pest spray. Take around half a cup of bugs and two cups of warm water. Mash up the bugs. Strain the mixture. Dilute the concentrated mixture with around a cup and half of water. Put this diluted mixture into a spray bottle and spray the plants. This will prevent new bugs and insects from coming onto those plants.
Another organic bug spray involves chopping up hot pepper and soaking them in a pint of water. Leave the peppers in the water overnight. The following strain and use the water to spray your plants. You can make a similar spray using onions or garlic.
